Medical (military medical) commission

     The Medical (military-medical) commission of the State Institution "Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Ivano-Frankivsk region" is a special unit established in the health care institution of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine to conduct the medical and military-medical examination. The main task of the M(M)E is to determine the suitability of candidates for service in the police and the National Guard of Ukraine, candidates for admission to higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and higher military educational institutions of the National Guard of Ukraine, applicants for the higher education of these educational institutions. In addition, the functions of the EC include determining the suitability for further service of police officers and servicemen of the NGU and determining the causal relationship of their diseases, wounds, injuries, contusions, and mutilations. 
In its work, the MMC is guided by the Regulation on the activities of the Medical (Military Medical) Commission of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, approved by the Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine dated 03.04.2017 No. 285.
The commission is located in a separate building at 11 Sakharova Street, Ivano-Frankivsk. On the 3rd floor, there are separate offices of the chairman of the commission, therapist, neurologist, surgeon, and registry. The offices of the otolaryngologist, ophthalmologist, dentist, dermatologist, and gynecologist are located in the polyclinic of the State Institution "TMA of the Ministry of Internal Affairs" at the same address.
On the basis of the hospital (with a polyclinic) of the State Institution "TMA of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Ivano-Frankivsk region" additional laboratory and instrumental examinations and consultations of narrow specialists are carried out, if necessary - inpatient examination for persons undergoing a medical examination in the MCC.
