About Institution

The State Institution "Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Ivano-Frankivsk Region" is an independent state multidisciplinary health care institution, which combines a hospital (therapeutic department for 80 beds) with a polyclinic, a center for preventive medicine, a medical (military medical) commission, a center for psychiatric care and professional psychophysiological selection.

The institution is licensed by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to carry out medical practice on 10.12.2015 (decision No. 837) and accredited for the first category on 08.08.2019 (decision No. 783).

There are 40 experienced doctors, 24 of them have the highest qualification category, 45 - are middle medical workers, and 27 - have the highest category.

For medical care, the following are attached to the TMO

- police officers and family members of police officers, citizens of Ukraine from among former police officers, citizens of Ukraine from among former rank and file and senior officers of the internal affairs bodies, servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine, pensioners and veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, combatants, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs who participated in the liquidation of the Chornobyl accident; civil servants and employees of educational institutions, medical and scientific institutions and support institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the National Police and their families, cadets of educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The priority activities of the TMO are

- provision of qualified and specialized medical care to the attached contingents, qualitative military medical examination and psychophysiological selection of persons, annual preventive examinations for early detection of diseases, sanatorium and resort rehabilitation, sanitary supervision of attached facilities, training of personnel in first aid to victims.

TMO is partially equipped with diagnostic and medical equipment, and ultrasound and X-ray equipment are used for examination.

Doctors actively cooperate with the central hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and institutions of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to refer patients for consultations and treatment.
